In the image below the sugar cube was 42mm from the lens and shows a horizontal field of view of 960mm.
The sugar cube measures 16mm x 14mm.
It shows the coin at the closest possible distance of approx. 2mm.
In this next image the coin was a distance of 37mm from the lens.
In the next images the sensor used was a 1/4" Sony ICX618. Despite this not being a macro lens due to its very short focal length it was able to focus right next to the lens. The first image is focused at a distance of 0mm from the lens and the second at 13mm.

How do I choose the right lens for my application?

What are the differences between C-mount and M12 lenses in industrial applications?
